Occasionally, when information changes at the institution the accounts will disconnect. Please try the following solutions:
Solution 1: Go to the linked account. There should be a button that says: password invalid click here to “fix it.”
Solution 2: If they go into the Connected Accounts area of the app they can disconnect and reconnect the institution with the new username/password. This might require them to merge duplicate accounts, but probably not. Depending on how Plaid surfaces password errors, they might get a prompt to "reconnect" by putting in their username/password again, but this doesn't seem to always happen.
